what's the truth?

Alright well for you that don't know, my name is Demonte Hoilett (last name pronounced Toilet with an H) I'm 17 years old, and for now I am not currently enrolled in high school.

Shit has been crazy lately for me, and this post i seen on the award tour blog and this really made me think.

For you lazy niggas that don't wanna go to the link and read it, i'll sum it up .

Basically, someone posted a comment saying that they liked the award tour blog better back when Phil did more posts on clothes, shoes, and "dope shit" and Phil came back with a very intelligent and interesting response about how he's transformed over the years and how he's not focused on the newest shoe collaboration on HypeBeast etc .

This post got to me because at this moment in my life, im starting to finnaly realize that i need to change some things .

All ive been doing lately, is sit at this computer desk, looking up shoes and clothes and shit and I think it finnaly hit me.

THIS STUFF IS NOT IMPORTANT. idk why, but i used to obsess over retro jordans, bape shirts, ralph lauren and shit but since ive had this time to really sit around and think, what is michael jordan, nigo, or ralph lauren doing for me ?

nothing .

I used to use these things as like a remedy to my unhappyness, and the worst way to replace an emptyness is with material possession .

Another thing is weed.

Man, i think everyone should stop smoking, i regret ever picking up a blunt for the first time .

Weed has done nothing to me but make things worst.

Take my money, get me in trouble with the cops etc .

But anyway, I have a new outlook on things for sure, and I'm not gonna let anyone stop me from doing what i need to do to continue down the road to success, not weed, not girls (hoes), friends, nobody or nothing .
